A first haircut is not a big deal — it is a chair, a cape and ten patient minutes. That is how our barbers in Cape Coral treat it, and it is the reason parents keep bringing the whole family back to the shop on Pine Island Rd.
What a kids' haircut costs
A boy's haircut is $25 and covers children ten years old and under — patience included. Older kids and teenagers go on the regular list: a regular haircut is $20 and a specialty cut such as a fade is $30. A quick line up between cuts is $10, and a design or graphic starts at $30 if they want a star or a couple of lines on the side.
How to make a first haircut easy
- Come at a calm hour — weekday mornings are gold.
- Let them watch a cut before their turn.
- Do not hype it as a big deal. It is just a chair and a cape.
- Our barbers let kids hold the comb and feel the clippers buzz on their hand first, and they stop for a break when it is needed.
Nobody rushes a first haircut here. Our barbers work in English and Spanish, so whichever language your child is most comfortable in, that is the one they will hear in the chair.
Bring the whole family
Plenty of parents book their own cut at the same time — a fade for dad, a boy's cut for the little one, and everyone is out the door together. Walk-ins are welcome every day; if you want a specific hour after school or on a Saturday, book it on the Cape Coral page. Senior haircuts are $20, so grandpa is covered too.
